Hmm, I agree with the chosen tech, but some of the info on that thing is just off. The first ad is totally from the 80s, and it's for CompuServe, for example; not exactly dialup. On the second thing, I owned one of Sony's very first mass-market portable CD players in 1989, after many moons of slinging subs and saving pennies, and it sure as heck had bearings to snap your CD in there.
