Broadband & the European Union
Continuing the discussion about broadband, ARMA International, a professional organization for records and information managers, recently published an item in their European Policy Brief discussing EU policy considerations for widespread broadband access, especially in rural areas. What struck me was the estimated 93% of EU peoples already connected to high speed internet. I'm not exactly sure what they are basing their numbers on, e.g., home use, work use, both, etc., but the figure is impressive.
