$35.3 million to public school libraries
I just found this tidbit in the Capital Times about funds for public school libraries. Apparently all the traffic tickets are good for something.
Perhaps this will help school libraries in Wisconsin either avoid or address the problem of outdated materials that was highlighted in Minnesota. Here is information on the state of affairs in Minnesota: "Books on disco dancing from the 1970s. On computer graphics from the 1980s. Where did we find them? Your local school library.
