Book Review

I plan on reading Alison Armstrong's book, The Child and the Machine: How Computers Put Our Children's Education at Risk. I think that it will be interesting to read a book the questions the impact that technology has on children in an elementary school environment.

Reading a little bit about the book, Armstrong presents multiple arguments about how technology may take away from other areas of public school funding, how it augments the traditional educational method, and the idea of computer literacy.

I think that it should be a good read. If only I had a Kindle 2 to download it on right away...
