1) review project about the actual debate about the e-government in Europe.
2) review project about the actual debate about the privacy and treatment of data in Europe.
For both I intend to stress which is the actual policy suggested by the European Union.

I like the question of e-government better, just as a personal preference, especially since the entire question of governance through the EU and its new constitution is happening at the same time. There are tons of official (and likely online) sources you could use to review the actual policy; there are also doubtless plenty of scholarly articles on whether that policy is sensible or not (I'd start by checking the journal _The Information Society_).
